File size restrictions

Generally, please only upload files that are as small as possible (!)

Why? To positively contribute to user experience, page speed and loading time of your own local website.

Here's an overview on the "best case" sizes for uploading your files:

File size dimensions

When uploading your files, please keep the following restrictions to keep your page fast and so that it is not slowed down by heavy pics/videos:

- SVG and other formats - if required

2-Pixel

800 x 800 px

for pictures added within a page e. g. product images
1920 x 1080 pxfor fullwidth images + header components (even try 1920 x 1200 px alternatively)
1080 x 720 pxfor people images e. g. management pictures, contact cards etc.
1920 x 1080 pxfor videos (of course, please minimize if required e. g. video too big for upload)
3-Ratio16:9for images + video (of course, please change if the compent requires it or it doesn't look good)
4-Colour FormatsRGB
