Structure AEM

AEM site structure and website structure

The complete AEM site structure is built as a tree structure and can be found exactly the same way on the website.

Example:
https://www.ebmpapst.com/de/en/products/compact-fans/axial-compact-fans.html

How is the URL structure set up?

The URL contains the country and language code (ISO).

It also contains the category and detail page.

By clicking on a page in the  AEM site structure, you will   see all navigation items.

This way you can navigate   through the entire page   structure until you arrived   at the page you want to work   with.

All websites are published under the single domain ebmpapst.com. The distinction between country and language is marked by the international codes ISO-3166 and ISO-639 in the URL and is understandable for search engines.

→ e.g.: www.ebmpapst.com/au/en/...

This URL (Uniform Resource Locator) supports the search engine ranking and is provided by Adobe Experience Manager Multi-Site-Management.

Navigate with the content tree structure

Details:

  1.         „Content Only“ is the most convenient choice when editing         pages/contents. However, you can choose „Content Tree“ also
if it works better for you.
  2.         Choosing "content tree" will display all contents in a window
on the side (cf. Win Explorer) and with a tree structure. Here,
too, you can navigate through the tree structure / folders by
            clicking them.
